That Hindus constituted the majority of the people of the country and that Hindu ethos at the profoundest intellectual and spiritual levels believed deeply in religious tolerance and respect for other religions. If the majority of people in India were not Hindus, India would not have been a secular country. Instead of emphasising this, Nehru put the Hindu majority somewhat on the defensive, predicating Indian secularism on certification by the minorities, that the majority is secular. Yousef would later be arrested in a hotel room in Islamabad, Pakistan on February 7, 1995 after a 23-day manhunt. All three conspirators got life sentences for participating in the plot. Yousef also got 240 years along with his life sentence for the 1993 World Trade Center attacks. Yousef was sentenced on January 8, 1998, and Murad was sentenced on May 16, 1998. Shah has been cooperating with the government since August 1998. People who feel that the United States Government should have discovered September 11 feel that the the findings of 93's Bombay blasts and discovery of Operation Bojinka should have raised early warning flags that would have prevented September 11, pointing to Phase II. He is also wanted in the murder conspiracy of BJP leader N Indrasena Reddy and the Secunderabad Ganesh temple blast, besides the blasts on the Samjhauta Express. An associate of Rasool Khan 'Party', a Gujarat resident, Bilal has been instrumental in sending youths for arms training to Pakistan through Dhaka and some Gulf states, the sources said. Incidentally, one Maqsood Ahmed alias Maqsood, 26, who was working as a manager with a showroom in Somajiguda, was arrested on April 1, 2007, during search operations.
